Title: How do I find the best price for auto transport?

I would like to ship my car from NYC to LA and need a good shipping company for a good price. Anyone know where I can find one?

I've used Fedex & Reliable. Go on line & call each of them one at a time. I made the mistake of filling out one of those on-line form & I was getting every Tom, Dick & Harry. Some were not even companies. More should post in...Joe

I have used a broker (twice now) with great results. Worry Free Transport (Diane)

They have beat every price I got in both cases.

The first time, I believe it was Reliable that quoted me about $1,500 and Worry Free like $850. When the truck arrived to pick up the car, lo and behold, it was Reliable. I just used them last week and was very pleased.
