I want to install a factory in dash tach there is a seperate tach harness available for about $25.00 I can't find a elec print showing where the wires run to has anyone done this install and can guide me Jack

The harness should include instructions. The tach needs switched ignition power, a ground, and a brown wire to the coil (-) terminal.

Also check out U16 in the AIM. It shows some detailed information.

You might find the template included in the above link helpful. I added the tach to my 69 RS about 15 yrs ago when I also added the console gauges. No issues - take your time and all will be good.
Good luck.
