Title: "Atta Boy" Jon, Guldstrand Camaro
Post by: cuda48 on May 15, 2011, 01:34:52 AM
Check out page 46 in the July Hot Rod Magazine. Our fearless leader Jon gets credit for the authentication of the 69' Guldstrand T/A Camaro.  How about a vintage photo of this car as it should look Jon?

Below is a photo of Robert's car down in Mexico, blue #7. Not what you meant but I'll see what else I can dig up. Thank goodness
it wasn't the #3 in front of it.

The photo of the car and Robert in the Hot Rod article was taken when we took the car down to Guldstrand's shop a year or two
ago to show it to him.

Congratulations to Robert for getting a little public recognition and for owning a car he coveted after first reading about it in
Sports Car Graphic magazine a measly few decades ago. Little did he know the car was still "out there".

YEP, I always wondered if I would ever get to see that car in person. Now its in my garage 8) and I have Jon to thank for that--THANKS again Jon.
I think Rob Kinnan wrote a fine short history on the car and gave the credit to whom it belongs. :)

This is the only color shot I have of the car. Maybe Robert's got something else he cares to share?
The car was originally a Daytona yellow Z/28 but Gregory Racing repainted it a silver with red-orange
and black accents (the sides are mostly silver). It's a very nice looking car, in my opinion.

Nice to see Robert and the car get some attention, that's for sure!
