Bought a set of Lakewood traction bars that are now black. I want to paint them the old style yellow. Does anyone know the paint code number of that yellow. Also need a pair of the small stickers that go on the side of each bar.

The small lakewood stickers are available through summit or jeggs can't help you on the yellow I matched mine up from memory but mine came with TRACTION ACTION stickers . Of which I have looked high and low for and cannot find. Any suggestions? Or anyone who knows of the whereabouts of this sticker.

Richard, I can help with the yellow color.I got an original set that's faded but can get real close I think.I plan on repainting a set back to the original looking yellow for my 67.I painted them black back in 1989 when it seems like a good idea at the time!!I also have the Lakewood bell housing color duplicated.BTW i may have some stickers for ya!....RSR

I use a rattle can paint by NOW. Its a Sherwin Williams product. Its real, real close in my opinion and you can buy it at ACE Hardware. Did a couple sets of the old wide bar Lakewoods and they look real nice.
