Title: 021 flywheel
Post by: wisemanz28 on April 27, 2011, 09:39:53 PM
Need to replace my Z28 3791021 flywheel, I found one dated G 3 9. Would this date work for a Z28 with a build date of 09 A , my motor has a date stamp of 08 25 9.

Where did you find the "08 25 9"? Is that the raised block casting date on the back of the block, or part of the stamping on the front pad? In either case, that's not a typical format.

I'm sorry John, I might not have printed that exactly how it is stamped, the motor was cast the 22nd and the engine is stamped the 25th, these dates are in my head and I would have to go out to the car to get the exact readings off the engine. I appreciate the heads up.

That flywheel works fine with your dates.
