I agree with you Phillip. I don't think the car would be worth the fee of a complete rebuild. The only thing going for it is the column shift. I'm guessing pretty rare if your into that sort of configuration.
I have not seen the car but I thought I recognized the landscape in the pics so I emailed the owner. Come to find out, it is located 130mi north of me and just north of Santa Fe.
