Title: 1969 CE Stamp
Post by: BRKYARD on March 30, 2011, 05:05:16 PM
I picked up a 4 bolt main 3969854 block cast H.30.9 and wanted some opinions on the stamp.

It appears it started out as a T0916KE then it was ground down at Tonawanda little then it became a CE070400. On the bottom of the block where the starter bolt on is stamped T099. Broach marks are very clear everywhere on the block but under the stamps.

My theory is it was stamped to go on a car but then it turned into a CE block before it went out the door????

Thanks, Kurt
