Title: Subframe bushings
Post by: binky3 on March 29, 2011, 04:43:01 PM
I'm replacing sub frame rubber bushings. All 4 rubber bushings(with steel sleeves) are about 2 1/2" O.D. But 2 bushings are about .700" thick, and the other 2 bushings are about .900" thick. Which goes where?? I've heard the 2-.900"thick bushings go between the floor and the sub frame by the fire wall location(on the frame), and the 2 thinner bushings(.700") go in the rear of the sub frame. Is this true??

Also, what O.D. are the core support bushings(to the sub frame) and how thick should they be??
