Anyone ever seen the article on these? They toured the country in 1967.They have stripes similar to one of the US Trans Am camaros.
-
I havent, but would love to know and see more.

There was a small article in July August 1967 issue of General Motors World Export Factory Magazine . It shows all the cities they drove the cars to.
-
Thanks for mentioning this.
Here's the article. I'd love to see the literature they distributed!

Wonder what happened to those cars?
-

No posts here in nearly 11 years, wasn't sure where to post this, there are threads on Trans-Am Camaros but I don't think there is
one specific to Camaros raced in Europe, I am ready to be corrected ;) So thought I would try here.
Here's an image of a '70 ? Camaro that was run in hill climbs in Switzerland between 1970 and into the '80s. There was no other
info with the post other than that.
Is that a Swiss tag on the car ? Also what is interesting is that the car has that badge on the left of the grill that Swiss built
Camaros carried, it is mentioned in the thread here Swiss Camaro, explanations in reply #14
Any additional info would be welcome, I've included three images, you might need to scroll back and forth to see the whole thing, I
have an issue with sizing images to fit ::)

From what is noticeable, I'd say it's likely a 70, but could be 70-72. The Suisse badging certainly looks the same in the two photos, but unless I am missing something they look to be on the right hand side of the grill? Might be my bad because I couldn't find your "reply 14" reference. Either way, pretty cool picture!

Thanks for your reply MO, here's the link to the reference on Swiss Camaros, that has an image of the badge.

Ah...didn't think of that...thanks for the link Mike! Only a guess on my part, but maybe the badge on the 70's Camaro was paying tribute to the Suisse built first gen Camaro's? Maybe Swiss owner/driver pride? Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge will chime in. Very cool none the less. Love the stock wheels without the chrome trim on the car too.
