Draft version of the Camaro Chassis Preparations sheets, circa 1968. This was a document created
by GM with the intent to provide valuable information to people intending to road race the Camaro.

Newbie here, and I see the factory Camaro Chassis Preparation manual draft posted. I have the finished document if the Group wants it, dated November 18, 1968.
Also, I have an accompanying document "Clearances and Specifications for Heavy Duty Service - 302 Cu.In. V-8 Chevrolet Engine dated 10-14-68.
There was more from Chevy around those times, including, "RPO L-88", "396 and 427 Cu. In. Mark IV Chevrolet", "1967-1968-1969 (early 1st design) 56 pages showing all the H.D. part numbers and a drawing of the Dual Quad system.
Does the Group have all this stuff?
-
Not sure if Jon has it but I would like to see it. You can email it to me at cook_dw@hotmail.com
Thanks & Welcome!!

Thanks for posting here. I think I have most if not all of what you mention. I did not post any big block stuff as I did not see it pertaining to the SCCA Trans-Am series. I think I have posted everything else, although maybe not.
-
I would be interested in the BB stuff.. Jon do you care to email it to me?
-
I don't have that stuff scanned, Darrell. May be awhile.
-
Jon,
I have a bunch of similar (possibly the same, possibly updated) that Richard Allin used to build my car for the 1972 T/A. If it's of interest, I could post it or send it to you and you could determine how useful it is.

Alex, I already have the Richard Allin stuff but thanks for the offer. I'll have a look at it and see if there are any useful updates.
