Hello, can someone please show me the correct side glass weatherstrip channel fasteners please.
And/or AMK part number would be good too thanks.
(That retain these to the body.. http://www.heartbeatcity.com/store/product/19452/Camaro-Roof-rail-channel-kit--6-piece--68-69/ (http://www.heartbeatcity.com/store/product/19452/Camaro-Roof-rail-channel-kit--6-piece--68-69/))

A second, more thorough look through my Fisher Manual found this..

Now, can someone please tell me where is the GM Parts Manual, as in, what section or page is it listed in/on please?
For the life of me, I can not find it.
I have been looking in section 10, 11 and 12.
I believe that 10.721 is the "Retainer, side roof rail", as well as "Weatherstrip, side roof rail" however there is no mention anywhere I can find that list the screws. (Yes, I checked under Screws.)
Scrolling through PDFs suck big-time! I gotta get this thing printed. Just blown a whole hour.. Give me a book anyday.

If I remember correctly I am a firm believer those screws are the same kind that are used on the wheel opening molding. They have a flat washer with a slightly raised head.
-
Steve, the pic you show is close, but not original. The original was a self-drilling screw. The head had a wide washer head, but the phillips screw had a slightly raised head the size of a normal screw head

Also thinking very similar to the wheel arch moulding screws, but Gary, after finding that illustration in the Fisher Body manual, I realize the AMK example I previously posted is incorrect.
I'm now thinking more like.. (No self drilling in this size)

You can't search your PDF file? I search the AIMs I bought on CD...

I'm not talking about the Assembly or the Fisher Manual. I'm talikng about the phone-book-sized Chevrolet Parts Manual that the dealers would have had. I have one on PDF covering all models from 1967-1975 and searching a file/book that large with maybe 1000 pages is a real pita. :)

I just pulled this from a '68. It's the same as others I have, as well as a '66 GTO I recently yanked apart.

Thanks again Scott for your emails and your help.
The dimensions are ~1/2" in length and diameter. The closest available from AMK, I believe, is B-11170.

Oh, you mean you know what I'm talking about.. (Damn, I was hoping you found the screws in the pdf.. I lucked out on that search.. :-\)
