I have access to a late 70s/early 80s Trans Am 10 bolt with disc and was wondering if they would fit on a first gen 12 bolt housing. I know that Chevy 10 bolt brakes will swap over, but wasn't sure about the Poncho 10 bolt disc set up. Anyone have any experience with this swap? I am thinking I remember folks swapping late Camaro disc to 12 bolts back in the day, but the memory is foggy only bits and pieces.

340-6,
It'a a bolt in. you will need ALL the T/A parts inc. prop. valves, backing plates, Master cylinder, ect... the part that screws everybody is the axel slop. you will need thicker C clips or use two thinner C clips per side.

Very interesting, thank you. I take it the original front disc set up on the 69 will work fine with them. Which booster should I use 69 or 79?

I never tried the old booster, or unbolted the M/C from the booster, (I was much poorer when I was younger did not even rebuild the parts - they came from a T-boned WS6) they should be the same.

Cool, should be a cost effective upgrade.
