I have three questions!
First Question: I am replacing all the light bulbs in my 67 and noticed a clear version and an amber version for bulbs 1157 and 194 at Auto Zone and Pep Boys. Were all bulbs clear or were some amber?
2ndQuestion: I printed this list off a post on Camaros.net a while back. I found all the bulbs except the dome and console lamp bulbs #8646. Is this bulb no longer available or under a different number?
Light Bulb Numbers:
Console automatic transmission indicator 1895
Glove Box 1895
Ash Tray 1445
Instrument Panel Gauge 194
Dome Lamp 8646
Console Lamp 8646
Clock (dash) 1895
Turn signals (dash) 1895
Rear turn (tail lamp) 1157
Radio 1893
Parking brake 194
Parking lamp 1157A
Underhood lamp 93
Back-up lamp 1156
Trunk lamp 1003
License lamp 1155
3rd question: What number is the ash tray bulb at the back of the console? I purchased #1445 and it looks nothing like the one I pulled out of the ash tray. It had no number on it to cross reference either.
Thanks in advance guys!!!

All the lamps are listed in the specifications section of the 1967 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. The manual list application, candle power, and bulb number.

The only amber bulb the 1967 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual list for the '67 Camaro is for the parking lamp and directional signal: 1034-A

Here's a site that shows lamp pics, you just have to muddle thru the household and Christmas tree lamps or better yet use the search box near top right.

Nothing came up for an 8646, I've never heard of that one. I think amber lamps were only used when you had a directional/parking light with a clear or white lens, possible also the early front side markers if lens was clear.

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like the list I was going off is wrong...

Have you checked your owner's manual? They usually have a bulb listing.

I have the ends left of an original console light bulb. I'll try and see if it has any #'s on it.

#1816 from a 69 console, if that helps
