VIN 124679N665238
Is it in the Registry?  If not, where can I input data?  Thanks!

Yes. It was on ebay back in 2006. Nice original car! :)

Can you post or send me an email with a pic of the trim tag? Do you have the trans or axle codes?

Thanks!

Thanks Kurt...I'm pumped!  I have all the drivetrain codes & will email as soon as I find my sheet or get back under the car.  I bought it in 12/06, we did a frame-off in '08 but kept everything possible original.  Will take a pic of the trim tag in the morning. Thanks!

Lets see some pic's of the car. You do not see many 69's that color.

Thanks Capt. appreciate the complement.  IMO I don't think I've seen a Camaro that wasn't at least pretty!  By the way, those pics were taken in downtown St. Petersburg
on the same road they run the Grand Prix races on.  In fact, barriers and tires are starting to line the streets.  I'm pumped there will be a Gen 5 Camaro team in town.  Should be a real good time...weather has been perfect lately!

Dennis...here is a pic of the car you asked for. After looking at yours...wish this was a white rag top. ;)

I don't know about that Marty...your car is just gorgeous!  Great color combo, looks super clean.
Thanks for the pic.  IMO still not much out there that can compete looks wise with a 1st Gen Camaro.
Lines are just classic!

I am in the process of restoring a 67 RS convertible that had been owned by my father-in-law since 1975. I would like to know the benefits of the Vin registry and how to how to register it. This is a complete numbers matching R/S 327PG. We have the original protecto-plate and latest title, last transferred 5/23/75.

It's not a registry per se.
The CRG database has 17,000+ vehicles in it with data gathered from many different sources - cars, documentation, orphaned engine/trans, forum posts, data submitted, ebay, etc.
It was designed from the beginning as a research tool - gotta have data if you are going to have facts to base research on. There are no plans to ever make it publicly searchable/available. The confidentiality of the db is a key feature that has resulted in data being submitted that otherwise would not be available. The data results from the db appear throughout the website - paint percentages, research articles, etc. It can also provide history on a car - not it's original intent, but ask Marty how it helped him trace back his car. :)

You can email 67 data to Daniel - dakcoffman@gmail.com.
