Unforunately 1968 is the hardest year to document a car.  There is nothing the TRIM tag or in the VIN that says anything about the options on the car.  All that is known for sure is that is was a V8 equipped car built during the 1st week of June 1968 at Los Angeles assembly.  Its Grotto Blue (DD) in color with a Blue vinyl (717) bucket seat interior.

B340 is a internal scheduling code showing the car entered produciton on the 2nd scheduled work day (B) in June (likely June 4) and was the 340 body on that days schedule.  It took several days to complete the build.

Does it still have the orignal engine?  What are the engine codes.

Do you have the Protect-O-Plate attached to the warranty booklet?
