Title: 67 ss options
Post by: dab67 on May 22, 2006, 11:01:49 AM
Does anyone know what was considered standard equipment on a 67 SS 350?  I know the 350 v8, 12 bolt rear end for sure. What were the brakes? Power or Power Discs? Power steering or quick ratio? Tinted glass? I went to a car show on Sunday near Madison, Wisconsin and saw a 67 SS with more options than I have ever seen on a 67. it had PB, PS, Pwr windows,( was this even available in 67?) tilt wheel, Tinted glass, AC, deluxe interior, rally gauges, console and powerglide.

For 67 the SS 350 came standard with the 350 engine obviously, the SS hood, SS emblems, the bumble bee stripe, a 3-speed stick trans on the column, and the 12 bolt axle.  Other than that any of the other options could be added to the car.
Yes, power windows were available for the 67 Camaro.  Here is a link to a PDF of all of the options for 67, 68 and 69: http://www.camaros.org/rpo23feb00.pdf

The 3-speed on the column was standard for all of the 67 Camaros except for the Z and big block cars.
