I am in the process of restoring my 1969 RS/SS 350 Convert, and am currently doing the front sub frame and rear axle asm. My front springs still had the original tags on them but they was covered completely with dirt and undercoating. I was able to carefully remove one and gently clean it so I could read the numbers and letters. It reads EM 3955712. Which is correct according to the spring chart for the options I have. The rear spring tags are missing. The rear end is original to the car (12 bolt 3.07 Posi code BR) and has 5 leafs. According to the spring chart, should the rears be BF or BN tags? The option weight is over the 16 lbs listed in the chart. Also, I cannot find any vendors who list these tags neither front nor rear. In another post, someone mentioned ECS, do they make tags not listed on their site? Any help would be appreciated.

I also posted in the other thread. I had Jim Osborn Reproductions make decals for me and they turned out great.

I went to that link. Are all their Camaro decals correct or do you have to have an original to get them 100%?

Thanks for the help, I will contact Osborn about them making EM front spring tags. As for the rear springs, since my car doesn't have rear bumper guards, it didn't have the G31 option. So it could not have had the BN springs (Heavy Duty - G31 only). It should have had BF spring tags which are standard springs like the fronts. I will ask Osborn about those tags as well. Thanks again.

Good question. I have no idea what their available decals are based on, so I don't know if they are "correct".

Here is another one for reference. It is from the front spring on my car. Part of the puzzle how it got on there as the code does not seem to line up with the application.

According to a book I have"Camaro Restoration Guide"by Jason Scott my front coil springs tags "3955726 HG"are for a COPO 9560.I certainly dont have a COPO but it is a big block.Jerrys 3rd edition says they should be either 3955728 HW or 3955724 HQ! ???

That last one is the tag you have in pic.

I'm pretty sure that is an HQ which is what you said Jerry's book said you should have.

Sorry to the OP if this is heading into a tread hijack.
This "HQ" tag does not line up with Z/28 as far as I can tell. Everything else on the car points to Z/28 but the "HQ" spring tag is supposed to go with 427? It has been a real puzzle. This car seems too early for COPO. Maybe I will start another thread.

Sorry, I got you and jacmac confused and thought that you just couldn't read the tag or thought it said something different.
