Title: 1968 302 fan clutch
Post by: x66 714 on February 08, 2011, 02:37:54 PM
What's a replacement part number for the fan clutch for a 68 302? Any research been done on this?
Thanks, Joe

I'm not sure what Jerry is using (I'm sure he'll chime in), but I did a quick search and found the Hayden 2747 supposedly fits. Or are you talking about original GM parts?

Here's the current GM replacement...  http://www.heartbeatcity.com/store/product/13569/Camaro-Fan-clutch--302--396--%26-AC--67-68/

The last used, original one I saw sold for over $1100.00 with a broken cooling fin.

Kurt has a good photo of an original '68 Z28 fan clutch along with more info on the subject here...  http://www.camaros.org/coolingsystems.shtml#fan
