I am hoping someone can please post image/s of their factory fitted 69 quarter louver/s please.
I have the templates and they are inaccurate from where I believe the louvers are to be positioned. (ie: it tend to position the louver over the panel's indentation and not right next to it as presumed)
Some bonehead has definitely drilled the mounting holes in the wrong locations on both my quarters. >:(

Hey Steve I would love to know as well as I am going to drill holes for my louvers soon. I checked the AIM and there are lots of diagrams of emblem placement and measurements, but for some reason I could not find louver mounting specs. Hopefully someone will chime in soon. ???

That's because the Assembly Manual only covers Chevrolet-installed parts, and the quarter panel louvers were installed by Fisher Body; the holes were drilled with an apply fixture in the Body Shop, and the louvers were applied in the Fisher Body Trim Shop.

Steve,
No templates but maybe these pics will help. If you like the location...just use a file folder and pierce through it, then outline the louver and use it as your template.

Two more...

That's great Marty and exactly where I assumed too. The louvers do not cover the indentations.
The way mine were drilled, they were placed right on top! The templates were not far off that either.
I do know that the two lowest holes are 3-1/16" apart and both are 4.5" from the 1/4 panel to rocker panel seam.
The front most top hole is 9-5/16" from the lower holes and the top rear hole is 9-1/2" (+3/16") from the lower holes also.
I have found it best to mark the two lowest holes, then mark the uppers and not worry too much about actual dimensions.
How the louvers sit in relation to the indentations is far more important.
Thanks again Marty. ;)

Got your email Mark. Thank you very much. :)

If you still need more info, mine are off and I can measure the holes this week end.

All good now.. Thanks a heap for the offer though. :)

FWIW - I just put a set of GM NOS Louvers on a 02B Z28 and to my horror the drivers side hung out. Took it back off and there was a bunch of casting type flash on the back. I roloxed it down slightly and it now fits perfect.
