Title: Forum posting guidelines :)
Post by: KurtS on January 28, 2011, 04:02:35 AM
I and the other members of this forum really appreciate that the discussions and tone of the forum is civil and helpful. Keep it up!
Arguing and sniping at each other doesn't belong here.   :-X

Various cars and documentation are discussed on the CRG forum. Note that most owners and dealers do not have knowledge of the nuances of first-gen Camaros, so cut them some slack. Please be respectful of the owners / sellers of the cars and stick to the facts about the cars and/or documentation being discussed.

At the same time, this is a public forum where people can post their thoughts and opinions. If any owner or dealer is publicly displaying and/or advertising on the internet, then the item is obviously open for discussion. The owner or seller has the chance to participate in the discussion if they so wish.

The question came up about what info is appropriate to post about a car from a car show.

Here are Rich's comments:

No matter that it is legal to take pictures in the open at public events, CRG has long striven to honor personal privacy by not publishing detailed information on individual cars that are not already published in the public domain or for which owner permission was not given.

Going forward, we expect that CRG Forum members, especially when representing themselves as CRG Forum members either verbally or by wearing a CRG logo, would honor this approach.

Thanks for your support and interest!

Rich

There have been several questions about classified ads.
If you want to discuss a part that you see for sale, that's fine.
But please don't put for sale or wanted ads on the forum.
Team Camaro has classified ads:

SYC has classified:

Thanks!

I need to reiterate this statement. This forum is about polite and intelligent discussions. Personal attacks on any level are not appropriate. If your post is not helping towards a solution or contributing to the discussion, then ask if the post is needed.
