Title: Valve covers for 68 z28
Post by: ronnieg on May 16, 2006, 03:51:31 PM
I have read in different places that the 68 z28 came with steel chromed plain valve covers , i also have read that the finned valve covers were also used. Does anyone have info on this? My car is a 3rd week of may 68 z28.
Thanks

It should have chromed stamped steel valve covers.

Ronnie, F.Y.I. - The finned valve covers didn't show up on the Camaro Z/28 until  1969.

To make clear, '67 Z were chrome w/Chevy embossing, '68 "plain" chrome, '69 finned alum.
All agree?
