Title: Rear Quarter Panel
Post by: cadmanof50s on January 14, 2011, 04:10:29 PM
Sorry if this is a dumb question:

My 68 Convertible is at the body shop. I got a call from them (just now) asking if there should be a seam showing between the quarter panels (at the top) and front side of the trunk opening.
Asked a different way:  Is there a visible seam between the rear quarters and the panel just ahead of the trunk...the panel that sits between the front of the trunk opening and the opening for the convertible roof?

The seam was not showing in the car as I gave it to them...but there is some debate whether it should or not.

I would very much appreciate a quick response on this as I have to go see them with an answer this afternoon....thank you!!!

Vic
