Afternoon,
I have a 68 Camaro that is a April car.
Im after some NOS parts for it.
I have chevy by the numbers and the A.I.M.
Is there a electronic copy i can upload which shows GM part numbers?
If not can the part number for tail light bezels for a 68 ss be posted please.

Maybe I don't understand this all NOS crap correctly but NOS I thought meant NEW Old Stock doesn't it - ie: meaning I would assume, 'like brand new' if as the seller says these listed parts were new and never opened...
Why would they apparently be slightly pitted and have some of the paint peeling that would need touching up?
IMHO for $500 big ones (more than double what somewhat decent and nonpitted and/or peeling repops would go for) I'm at a loss to understand why other than the correct part numbers cast on them would someone pay this for them...
For a judged car they may garner points for the numbers and correctness - but wouldn't they lose just as many for poor finish if as described?

I took my originals off which were slightly pitted (looked a lot like the ones being hoisted on the Fleabay link posted) and replaced them with reproductions which were pretty much flawless in appearance because any true NOS ones were much too dear for me.
I was told at the time I inquired, that the cast metal material that the originals were made of made repair of the pitting almost impossible and the rechroming difficult as well - thus the 'New Off Shore' ones for me...
My new 'NOS' ones look good - almost too good for the car and fit reasonably as well - just missing the right casting numbers which isn't a big deal - at least to me...
Anyone know if the story I got regarding trying to repair and refinish these things is actually true?

Im trying to purchase good quality NOS, i love the # thing associated with my Camaro.

ebay is a good source for the P&A's, but they're usually very expensive. However, a few years ago a fellow Corvair enthusiast (yes, I like Corvairs) scanned in all his Corvair P&A's and Shop Manuals for us. In time, he also scanned in a few others, and the 1967 P&A 34 (http://www.gmpartswiki.com/w/Category:1967_Chevrolet_P%26A_34) and the 1971 P&A 30M (http://www.gmpartswiki.com/w/Category:1971_Passenger_Chevelle_-_Nova_-_Camaro_P%26A_30M) were among them.
And if you have a Corvair, here's the MAIN PAGE (http://www.gmpartswiki.com/w/Main_Page) ("Shop Manuals" and "Parts Catalogs" links at the upper left corner).

Wow, just saw this today. If someone bought those for $500 they are in for a big disappointment. The one bezel that has the sanding marks on it is one that I sold many years ago. It was NOS that I bought cheap (like $75). The casting was so badly deformed that I started to file/sand to try to flatten it out. They I found out that the whole thing was deformed an didn't fit the body very well at all. I talked to my chrome shop and we deemed it pretty much useless. So, I sold it. Interesting.

Wow - So much for 'Brand New, Unused, Unopened, Undamaged.... wonder if the buyer can get any form of restitution from Ebay after he gets these in hand. Buyer beware as always, I guess.

I have a couple of NOS Corvair mufflers that I bought in the 70's for my 57 Chev, then never used. I don't have the part no. offhand, but I can get it easily enough. (off the boxes) Any Corvair people looking for these?
