I undoubtly have a 95ish Caprice distributor in my son's truck. It has a bigger than normal base and doesn't fit the 116 intake. I have been told I can just get one from a truck up to about 96 or so and it will work fine, keeping in mind the 93-96 block and roller cam set I am running I figure that would be the best bet. Any thoughts from the late model guys? In the old days I would have thrown a unilite in it and never looked back. Is there a reasonable cost aftermarket distributor I should look at or is the stock oen fine. I plan to run a MSD 6AL if that changes anyones thoughts.
