Title: Exterior maintenance - wax/polish
Post by: joesauer on December 20, 2010, 05:55:11 PM
Looking for opinions on what's the best wax/polish for non clear coat exterior paint.  (Sorry to you guys in the East & Mid-States......out West some of us are still driving our Camaro's....between rain storms).  Know there's lots of different opinions on something like this.

I used KIT paste wax on my original paint survivor nova to start with. That does take some paint off as seen on my towl. For quick clean-ups I use Turtle wax spray or Wizard spray. Don't want to take to much paint off. I do drive my cars here in eastern Pa. as long as the roads are clear and not wet.

I switched to a polish called zaino (http://www.zainostore.com/) for my car. Over a summer the paint has become clearer with the removal of all the fine swirl marks and has taken on a "wet" look. With 3 best of shows, 1 best paint and several other trophies, I really like zaino but it is up to you to decide what really makes your car look good

Second vote for Zainos.  I use in on my Z10 and my Z06.  Good stuff.

ZAINO.......#1.

Used Zaino for the past ten years......nothing is better.
