Title: Camaro chevelle brake booster
Post by: SS396 on November 09, 2010, 01:00:20 AM
Does anyone know if 68 Camaro and 68 Chevelle 11" brake booster cores the same and if not what are the differences?

I think the external dimensions are the same, but I'm not sure the bracket that mounts it to the firewall is the same. The internal components are also different for a different calibration, but nothing major.

In most cases they are the same, sometimes there is a difference in the length of the clevis rod but that is adjustable.  The internals are the same including the large spring inside the booster.  The stamped number on the booster will be different from Camaro to Chevelle.

Hope this helps,
