Installed with (Modern) Urethane adhesive Correct type Foam Dam just like the factory did it.I haven't posted on here in a long time ,but I told Ron I would post them for him. Did this over the weekend, not a bad ride to West Point Thanks RonM

That looks great Jeff. Nice & clean with no squeeze-out at all! It is a shame to see a really nice car only to see that nasty butyl ribbon around the windshield. I applaud your work.
I bought the dam from you a while back, but haven't had a chance to use it. The old body shop had my car in "paint jail". I recently moved it to a new shop and expect that the glass will need to be put in in about 12-18 months. At that time, I'd like to use a 'fresh' dam and have it done right. I have all your instructions, but I don't think the shop has ever done a "technically correct" Camaro glass install.
Would you be willing to travel to East Granby CT for a glass installation? Front windshield only as I have a convertible. Any idea what you would charge?

Thanks Jeff ... sent you a PM

Thanks Jeff for making the trip over and doing a top notch job putting the glass in. I certainly know who I'll call in the future for glass installation. Thanks again, RonM.

RonM,
I'm not trying to hijack your thread... But in looking at the pics of your 68, which is almost a twin of mine, I'm wondering which transmission it has?
And yes, the glass looks great! ;D

Thanks Ron, Happy to help out. Great car, nicely done, a pleasure to work on.

The tranny is the Saginaw 4-speed, which came in the L30/M20 cars. By the way before I took the car apart I put about 20,000 miles on it and the tranny never gave me a problem. But I'm not 18 anymore either. RonM

Thanks! I thought it might have M20 and I've been looking for a picture of that air cleaner....
