It's most likely a marine, industrial, or stationary power application; 3-digit suffixes for normal production car/truck applications didn't start until 1970. I only show 2-digit suffixes starting with "X", and they're all truck usages.

My info indicates replacement engines from GM parts or GM Performance parts, don't know anything more about them.
I have notes in my old GM parts catalog on XXB, XBB, XBA etc being parts dept engines (might be made in Mexico?)
All the marine and industrial engine codes I have all begin with a number, followed by 2 letters.
