Hi all, is this the correct seat belt buckle for 68 ss with custom interior?

What you have pictured is the standard seat belt buckle for '68.  Both the base interior and "Deluxe Interior" came with these buckles.  The deluxe seatbelts were a separate option available with any interior.  So, your seatbelts are "correct", but you could upgrade them if you wanted to.  The custom deluxe buckles were bright silver (not sure if chrome or brushed/polished) and not black like yours.   Hope this helps!

Hey thanks gro51, it sure does help  :)
I kinda like the black and the shape of it, the whole interior is very black and chrome. What are the OER's like from classic, either standard or deluxe - if anyone has tried them?

I got some (standard buckles) from them a few months ago and installed them.  They are repros but I would say they are very close to the originals.   The blue GM mark of excellence part is a peel-and-stick and looks real similar to the originals but not exact. Of course they won't have the little white date tag on the web part of the belt.  I'm happy with mine.  I have the black deluxe interior.
