Title: paint maker for norwood cars

i would like to know the body paint supplier for norwood cars?

DuPont was probably the sole supplier to all Fisher/Chevrolet plants at that time, but John/Kurt may refine the answer further.

That's correct - all GM plants used DuPont phosphate chemicals, primer, sealer, and topcoats (DuPont was the largest single GM stockholder in those days). GM didn't start using other paint suppliers until the 80's.

thanks guys. i want to stay with the same kind of paint maybe just upgrade to a base clear .my car is a 68 uu code lemans blue and i think that it was a one year only shade because 69 lemans is a different part #
