Any suggestions on the best source for getting a 1968 California yellow/black license plate thats really "out of circulation". See some on ebay but not sure I can trust their originality. Don't want to go through the Calif DMV process to reregister the plate, only to find out its a counterfit. Thanks.

Found them through some other thread one time. Haven't used them. I had another link. But lost it when my computer crashed. Did you try a search on here and Team Camaro? Also, you kind of have to luck out w/ the link above regarding correct year. The other site(s) I had did have more plates available. I've also heard that vendors sell them at swap meets...

I think your best option and selection will come from e-bay or craigslist. Try to get a plates that would have been assigned in '68... (starting with a V or W). There is a number you can call at the DMV to see if they are clean....Don't have the number, but check DMV site.
