AC45 & 45S were originally for 283 & 307 ( 2BC) in 68.
AC44 was originally for Camaro with 4BC (except 396).
AC44S (extended shield) was for 327 & 350 in Camaro (and Chevelle)

I run AC R45S plugs in all my small-blocks, with and without factory domed pistons; good all-around plug for normal driving, no fouling in my '69 Z/28, which would foul 44's occasionally around town. Autolite 86's also work well for the same normal operation.
