Early 67 MU block, not original to car but from same plant and week mine was built (LOS 11B). I believe the engine build date was in mid August.

Those are engine plant inspection stampings.

Thanks!
Any idea if they identified the inspector, or something else like day of the week or what specific area was inspected or?

The stamps identified the inspector; most likely just a cursory visual check of some specific area after machining, looking for missing holes, broken-off taps, etc. Not much time for anything other than visual checks at 250 blocks per hour in the Machining Department.
