Title: 68 camaro ignition switch
Post by: fireZ on July 02, 2010, 12:18:55 AM
How do you remove the ignition switch on a 68 camaro. All dash lights will come on with key but when I turn to start  the lights go off and starter does not turn over. Also the door buzzer works with the key removed with door open

Insert the key in the switch and turn it counter-clockwise as far as you can; then insert a bent-open paper clip in the little hole, push it in against spring pressure, and continue turning the key counter-clockwise. The key cylinder will then pop out, and you can remove the bezel, then the switch.
