That's the LOS (Los Angeles/Van Nuys) body scheduling code.

RS, orange car with 729 interior.
Reputedly a 396 car, had a 454 last I knew.
And people don't think those codes tell you much.... :)
-
Kurt,
How do you know the car? My brother bought it yesterday.
-
The car was on ebay 7 years ago. It was only a couple of miles from me no less in MI.
-
KurtS,
My brother picked up the car yesterday after it broke down during the test drive earlier. Do you have any information on the car from when it was on E bay?
-
Nothing more than I've posted. :(
Curious if you find out if the trans or rearend is original to the car.... ;)
-
Kurt,
The trans matches the 72 454. The 12 bolt is original.
