I am looking at a 10B 1969 LA car. Under the paint code to the right of the date code are #s JOO8. Anyone have a clue?

That's the LOS (Los Angeles/Van Nuys) body scheduling code.

RS, orange car with 729 interior.
Reputedly a 396 car, had a 454 last I knew.

And people don't think those codes tell you much.... :)

The car was on ebay 7 years ago. It was only a couple of miles from me no less in MI.

My brother picked up the car yesterday after it broke down during the test drive earlier. Do you have any information on the car from when it was on E bay?

Curious if you find out if the trans or rearend is original to the car.... ;)

The trans matches the 72 454. The 12 bolt is original.
