Title: exhaust manifold
Post by: crownroyal58 on May 24, 2010, 12:29:25 AM
i replaced my heavily pitted exhaust manifolds and was wondering if there is a prov-en coating or treatment to prevent them from rusting and will not burn off?

Go here for info on Jerry's re-skinning process for exhaust manifolds - he did mine nine years ago:

I went to the website for Jerry, Called the number and left message, got no return call, so i e-mailed them and still have got no response.
Are there any other options to maintain the finnish on exaust manifolds ?

thanks, Mike

I used VHT high temp paint.  Be sure to get the manifolds absolutely clean and follow their instructions.
