I have read that there were 4889 69 L78,s built. Are there any production numbers as far as automatics or other. It would be a CX 400 turbo which I understand only came with solid lifter big blocks so if the COPO,s were subtracted that would be close.

Chevy shows 3,692 1969 Camaros produced with the "M40" transmission. Unfortunately on production documents they used the M40 designation on some TH350 applications which may be included. There is no breakdown by trans code so no one knows how many were CX.
