Post by: pjbizjak on March 31, 2010, 02:08:17 PM
Are 'T-3' headlight original to the 68 Camaro? Who was the manufacturer, GE, Westinghouse? Are they still available?

T-3's were manufactured in-house by GM's Guide Lamp Division; the T-3 reproductions are manufactured by Wagner Electric.

Thanks JohnZ, is there any marking to seperate original from repros? There are some on e-bay that I'm looking at.

Yes, there is - there's a raised "DOT" marking, oriented vertically, on the front of the lens at about 7 or 8 o'clock as you face the lens, and they usually have "Wagner Electric" stamped on the back side. Photo below shows the DOT marking.
