Ok, I need to put new rocker panel moldings on my car. The originals were missing in action when I got the car.
What company makes the best reproductions? I am looking to spend around $100 or less.
Here is a link to what I am talking about.

Or does anyone know of some good originals for sale?
Thanks in advance.

Rick's are fine. I have them on my Legends car. It actually took two tries to get good ones, but I had no problem sending back the first set.

John, thanks for the reply. I almost ordered the ones from Ricks, but then I found these right before I saw your posted message above.

I will let everone know how the look and how they fit once I get them installed.

3 years ago ricks were the top choice among repops on this site. I have them on my JL8 and they look good.Sitting right next to NOS ones they still look good.
I bought some c--v-x ones first and tried to install them because someone said they were fine.Nope, they resembled a combo of crinkled up tin foil and dog crap.
Unless a better one came out. I would recommend Ricks.

Byron,
I would be interested in how good they look. Just a warning. I installed a brand new one on the drivers side last year. By the time I got to Nationals, the new one was scratched. I have no idea how it got scratched! Anyway, just be very careful once they are installed!

I believe if you have the RS moldings, that is all you need.

67 RS had both mouldings. ;)

Well there is your answer. Jerry's car should be the correct way.

That is a big help. Thanks to all. Very nice car Jerry. Congrats on the win.

I take back my recommendation for Rick's. I have been trying to get a clean one for weeks. After 3 tries (all damaged), Rick's said they couldn't ship me any more. Three is the limit. I DO NOT recommend Rick's any longer.
I believe the problem is that the mounting rail is floating loosely in the plastic package. As a result, all three were scratched or pitted. One was twisted and bent.
If anyone knows of another, reliable source, please let me know.
Bummer.

I make it a point to pick up rocker spears at shows the vendor goes to to take the shipping worry out. I just picked up a set from Ground-up at E-town.

I've bought two sets from National Parts Depot that looked and installed nicely. The only reason I bought the second is because the first set got dented after 5 years of usage.

The CHQ rocker moldings are very nice. As John McBeth has stated, Eckler's is not a very good company to deal with. I am almost at the end of my rope with them. When the last straw is broken, I will post on ALL the forums about just how bad of a company they are to deal with. It's not the fault of the folks in Athens, it's the corporate pin heads in FL. My dealer discount status was changed due to the structure of their policies.
ANOTHER BIG ISSUE IS WHEN A PART IS DROPPED SHIPPED FROM ANOTHER LOCATION, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR INVOICE UNLESS YOU CALL AND CALL AND CALL TO GET ONE. And for me as a vendor, I need paperwork with all parts that come in to my shop.
If they do not get back on track, they will lose a big portion of the Camaro market..........trust me they will.

National Parts Depot ships theirs in a rigid cardboard tube so there's no chance of damage during shipment. I've been very pleased with their service and their prices are much cheaper than Ricks. No waiting on shipment either. I placed an order and had the part shipped the same day. One day shipment (which I didn't ask for) and their rates are very reasonable. I do a lot of business with NPD. Very curtious and knowledgeable. Their link is:

If you've never used them before check them out. I think you'll be quite surprised.
