Title: 69 Yenko Camaro X11 - 02D car
Post by: enio45 on March 30, 2010, 01:15:00 AM
Working on completing the paint on this car - does the X11 car get the blackout tail panel and any other black out trim?

Appreciate the info....

Just the rockers unless the car is Fathom Green. Only the 1st batch [01B, 01C] were X66 and had a black rear panel.

Really, rockers only??  Did you find this info somewhere or based on some x11 cars that are done?   Appreciate the insight so we can do it right.

COPOs/Yenkos are trimmed no differently than any other '69 Camaro. X11, X44, X66 resulted in the same trim level as any other. I do not believe there were any X11s in the first Yenko group. Very few X11 Yenkos.

It is a coincidence that there is an X11 Yenko under my guidance. Perhaps the most unique, it is an automatic with a factory console, special interior group, style trim, VE3 bumper, power steering, vinyl roof. It is Daytona yellow, only the rockers are black. Really sharp car!
