Title: Oil dipstick
Post by: pjbizjak on March 18, 2010, 12:44:43 AM
I'm going through my parts box, for my 68 camaro z/28, and I found the gray tipped dipstick but I also found two tubes. One is curved and one is straight, does anyone know if the correct tube is curved or straight? I read abunch of posts about dipsticks but the correct dipstick is only as good as the correct tube. PJ

The original dipstick tube on my '68 Z/28 is curved.

How long is the tube? Is your dipstick a gray tip?
