Title: Convertible top colors
Post by: Phil S on March 08, 2010, 01:40:05 AM
I have a '68 Lemans Blue car with blue interior and blue top. Trim tag and pop confirm. I'm curious how rare the blue top is. I've only seen it on one other '68. Thanks for any input.

Probably about 1% of the 68 ragtops. We've seen it on about 30+ 68's.

Thanks Kurt. Have you seen another triple blue?

Actually, most of them are triple blue. If they ordered a blue top, people then ordered a blue interior too.

And there's that red car with red interior that had a blue top. Go figure....

Wow, I'd like to see that one. I've got a service notification of some kind on this car that I think is for the motor mounts. Was that all in '68?

Phil my 68 Firebird was blue paint, blue top, black interior.   :)

I haven't seen it on '68 Firebirds before, bet it looks good though. I think 3 of the TAs have blue tops.

I think it's a killer combo. I'm not sure though of the correct shade for the top, mine is an older top and a little light it seems.

Phil my Firebird top was the original and it was on the lighter side too.  :)
