AC was the only option that affected alternator selection (other than ordering an optional alternator RPO).

If I'm reading the 1969 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual correctly, an 1100843 alternator would be correct.  Does everyone agree?

AC was the only option that affected alternator selection (other than ordering an optional alternator RPO).

As Kurt suggests, if RPO K85 was ordered, an 1100846 alternator would be correct.  Do we still agree?

The Assembly Manual shows 1100834 as the alternator for non-A/C hydraulic-lifter V-8 applications, 1100843 with A/C, 1100847 with K85 (1100846 with C60 and K85), and 1100837 with L-78 or Z/28.

In other words, John agrees...   :)
