keep it stock . buy a 6 cylinder car and put the rs equipment on it and do what you want to that car .

stock if it is still that way. If you don't want a stock car, sale it to someone who will keep it stock, then find one that is not numbers matching and build away to your harts desire.

Stock has some advantages - they hold thier value, they cost less to build, they work, and you know when you are done.  You can't say that about a hot rod.

If the car is way too far gone from stock and you don't mind giving up some or all of the above then go ahead and mod it. You might even be able to avoid cutting it up with some effort. Many cars will cost more to return to stock than they are worth for resale.

Keep it stock, if it still is, and resto it if it needs it. I have a 68 z/28 that I'm restoring and finding original parts is a full time job in itself.

Depends on the starting condition. If it's just a hull, then do whatever. If it's an original car, keep it stock.
