my interior is turquoise and in great shape. except the top left corner of the drivers seat is slightly faded. are there interior dyes available to correct such an issue. the seat other wize is very good and i would hate to replace it just for this one small imperfection. ??? ??? ???

Most of the resto parts suppliers out there carry all kinds of paints and dyes...

I wonder if it's OK to post companies.?.? Rick's First Generation, Year One, Classic Industries, etc. Where are you located? All that stuff ships ground frieght these days... I have a couple local guys here in my area. Only one has a retail store front, though.

You can try the jobbers on your dirt for SEM vinyl dye. They can mix it or other companies' dyes on their systems. Just give them the code. Save you the border shipping costs.

I also forgot to mention that the regular car parts stores have some dye options, too. I know dupli-color is and others are sold in those stores...
My mom and all but one sister moved to the U.S. back in the late '60s. I grew up near the Cupertino, Santa Clara, and San Jose city boarders in California. Only a couple cousins left in Edmonton...

A good local upholstery shop could probably dye it back to match the rest of the interior.

thanks guys f b s back in 79 i took a trip from jasper alberta to frisco and san jose. i had met a girl from chico and went to visit her.drove my 75 mgb, top down for 2 weeks. love california had a blast. i will try an upholstery shop as well as the other ideas. thanks to all for your time and ideas.

Cool! My cousin rides his Harley down to visit (and tour the country) now and again. I saw his brother ride his in the snow when I was up there! Hardy bunch of people up there... ;-)
