Title: pictures of my wifes 1969 camaro
Post by: anastasios on January 29, 2010, 02:56:50 AM
Well its a 1969 camaro original paint, original tires, 21000 miles-307,powerglide, some options are tilt steering, speed warning, fiber optics, front and rear bumper guards.  Drives great-even with the 4 wheel standard drum brakes. The car came from Glenway Chevrolet in ohio,by chance i looked up the dealership to my surprise it was still in business. I spoke to the owner  (days before general motors were closing them down after 90 years)   and he sent me some goodies. Some really good people out there, helping me out as his dealership comes to an end.

Those are the correct "Wheel covers"  I had the same ones on my car.  A few questions.  At 21,000 miles I would think it would have the original exhaust.  Who put in the dual exhaust?  Why does it have a front lower spoiler? A well optioned base car though.

I love it.. :)
Those wheel covers are such a refreshing change to the current 20" bling crappola..

Which blue is that? Dusk?

the car is  Glacier Blue. the exhaust has been changed by the previous owner. i contacted Jerry about appraising the car. Besides the exhaust it remains all original. The only thing I did was  remove the park brake pedal assembly and repair it

The front spoiler is original to the car it was not added

The front spoiler was added. Else it would have a rear spoiler too - the two spoilers went together and were not available separately.

Thank you KurtS, for informing me of the correct fact about the spoiler. Looking at it originally, I thought it was original due to 40 years of accumulated dirt and etc.. It MAY have been  dealer installed. Thank you. Anastasios.
