Title: 1968 Monoleaf Rear Spring Front Bushing
Post by: stovebolt on January 11, 2010, 04:09:58 PM
Two questions: when the monoleaf rear springs were available from GM, did they come with the front bushing installed or was the bushing sold seperately? Also, has anyone installed the Perfect Circle front bushing. How is the quality, would you recommend them? Thanks, Joe.

Joe,
The Perfect Circle bushings are fine from my experience with them. Also, they are available from Moog and TRW if you need others to look at.
I do not know about the springs being supplied with the bushing already installed, I am sure someone here will have the answer for you..   ;)

The monoleaf springs came with the front bushing already installed by the spring supplier; the rear shackle bushings were separate, installed at the car assembly plant.
