Title: A.I.R LOS
Post by: sappy787 on December 20, 2009, 11:59:46 PM
Hi,

I have a big block 396 67 camaro. I recently was asked if my camaro should of had the LOS A.I.R. The car was built in L.A but was shipped and sold new in Texas. Would a 1967 camaro that was built in L.A  required to have the A.I.R system if shipped to Texas. ( Did all LOS built cars require the A.I.R) Just curious to see if it should be on my car or if the original owner removed it. Pretty much an original car so I'm suspecting it wasnt required in Texas.

Thanks

Just because your car was built at the LOS plant did not mean that it required the installation of the A.I.R. (K19) system. Since this car was shipped new out of state to Texas, it would not have been required.
