1969 SS350:
For the four blade fan, what is the measurement? I read the report but don't see that info. Additionally, they are difficult to find...has anyone seen them for sale anywhere?
Secondly, is 7" the correct harmonic balancer for my car?
Thanks!

I am pretty sure the balancer is 8", but certainly not as wide as the Z28 balancer, which is pretty wide. Do not know about the fan. I may have one ( balancer) somewhere off a '69 300 HP 350.

The all Z's used an eight inch balancer. The timing marks was just relocated in 69.

Right, he is asking about a '69 SS

Rob, I understand now what you were saying. ;)

It's a narrower 8" balancer. Same timing cover as the Z.
I don't have the measurement on the fan. I can add if someone measures it.
Should be easy to find since they were on a lot of cars....

I just found in Jerry's book that the balancer is 8" and 1.340 inches thick for the SS350 while the Z is 1.750 inches thick...I don't know why I didn't look there first.

Not a problem!
