Hello, Can anyone tell me where the ground connections should be for the negative cable on a 68 396 car with AC? I could not find it in the AIM, but maybe I've just overlooked it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check UPC C60 sheet E2 (page 218). It goes to the lower passenger side compressor mount.

Great! Does it happen to show where the smaller pigtail connects as well? I'll recheck the AIM tonight. Thank you!

No, but it states "Balance of asm is same as reg. prod." which is shown on UPC 12 sheet A4 (attached to the fender reinforcement)
Also note that the picture on UPC C60 sheet E2 is for the L6 engines, so the negative and positive terminals are backwards from the V8 engines.

Thanks again Ed. Appreciate your help as always.

The sheet shows that a production washer was used. That is interesting, as most grounds have a toothed lock washer.
I wonder if that is a misprint, as 12 A5 shows grounds with toothed lock washers.
Anyone with an original 68 BB w/AC ?

"Production washer" means the same washer used on the negative cable on base cars, which was a toothed lock washer; there's no mis-print.
